Dear WBC Family:

At the WBC we are convinced that together we are stronger, that our sport is capable of breaking any border and that there is no adversity that separates this great family.

Today, we are happy to announce that our 59th convention will be held in presence and finally, after almost two years, we will be able to get along to share, celebrate life and our beloved sport: boxing.

This great event will take place from November 14 to 19 and will be held at the Presidente Intercontinental Hotel in Mexico City, it will be unique and unforgettable, since the world Convention returns home for the eighth time in a celebration of life, accompanied by the characteristic hospitality that Mexico offers.

This annual event, which in addition to bringing together international boxing stars from the a world over, offers presentations, medical clinics, approval of world rankings, mandatory fights, seminars for ring officials, judges and referees; to enrich and update boxing, always prioritizing the safety and health of the boxer.

The whole WBC family is ready to welcome you in the beautiful and multicultural Mexico City. However, we do not want anyone to miss out on this great celebration, so our Convention this time will also be celebrated in virtual mode, for those who cannot attend.

Querida familia del WBC:

En el WBC estamos convencidos que juntos somos más fuertes, que nuestro deporte es capaz de romper cualquier frontera y que no existe adversidad que separe a esta gran familia; hoy, estamos felices de poder anunciar que nuestra convención 59 se realizará de forma presencial y por fin, después de casi dos años, podremos reunirnos para compartir, celebrar la vida y al deporte de nuestros amores, el boxeo.

Este magno evento se llevará a cabo del 14 al 19 de noviembre y que tendrá como sede el Hotel Presidente Intercontinental de la Ciudad de México será único e inolvidable, pues la convención de nuestro organismo regresa a casa por octava ocasión en una celebración a la vida arropada de la hospitalidad cálida de México.

Este evento anual, que además de reunir a estrellas internacionales del boxeo en todos los ámbitos, es el único donde se busca por medio de ponencias, clínicas médicas, aprobación de las clasificaciones mundiales, peleas obligatorias, seminarios para oficiales de ring, jueces y referís; enriquecer y actualizar el boxeo, pensando siempre en la seguridad y la salud del boxeador.

Toda la familia del WBC está lista para recibirte en la bellísima y multicultural CDMX; sin embargo, no queremos que nadie se pierda de esta gran celebración, así que nuestra convención está vez también será de forma virtual para quien no pueda asistir.
